4+1 Graduate Degree Opportunities

As a major in Business Analytics, you may also choose to pursue a 4+1 program during your time at York College. This option allows you to complete both a B.S. in Business Analytics and an M.A. in Strategic Leadership and Management in as few as five years.

Business Analytics Salary Information

As in all careers, salaries for business analysts and professionals in related fields vary depending on your industry, location, and experience level. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary of an operations research analyst is about $86,000. Entry-level trainee positions may start at a lower rate of pay ($41,000 - $48,000), but top salaries can reach nearly $144,000 per year.

Some advanced roles, like data scientists and quantitative modelers, can achieve even higher salaries but often require master’s degrees and specialized skills in writing code or algorithms. The median salary for a Data Scientist in 2020 was around $104,000 (bls.gov).
