Student Clubs and Organizations

York College offers more than 100 student clubs and organizations, ranging from academic honor societies to Esports to Beekeeping Club, and everything in between! You can even start a new club, focused on your own area of interest.

Campus Recreation

For students who like to stay active or want to try new types of fitness and wellness activities, Campus Recreation has everything you need. In the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center, you'll find a fitness center, a rock climbing wall, group fitness classes, a swimming pool, intramural sports (including Spartan favorites like knockerball and pickleball), and a variety of recreational programming.

Greek Life

Rooted in tradition and values, Greek organizations can be an empowering part of your college experience. At York College, our community of sororities and fraternities is committed to active service, social responsibility, and unity.

Club Sports

You don't have to play on a varsity athletic team to participate in sports at York College. Club sports provide opportunities for students with a wide range of experience levels to compete. Club teams are student-run, with competitions held between clubs on campus as well as other colleges.

Campus Activities Board (CAB)

Campus Activity Board is responsible for bringing a variety of events and activities to campus throughout the academic year. This group's efforts include student favorites like BINGO and trivia nights, arts and crafts, on-campus festivals and celebrations, and the Spring Concert.

Student Senate

Student Senate is the elected student governing body on campus. Senators represent York College students' concerns and perspectives when meeting with administrators. They also oversee and fund all student clubs and organizations, including the Campus Activities Board.

Volunteering

The Spartan Volunteer Network connects students with the York community, offering opportunities to give back and support local partner organizations. The College also hosts an annual two-day service event, SpartanServe, in which students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together to volunteer at community-serving organizations throughout York.

Student Leadership

York College students have the drive and talent to change the world — and our Student Leadership Programs are designed to empower them with the tools they'll need to succeed. Individual students and student groups alike may participate in presentations, workshops, mentorship programs, and other opportunities to develop personal leadership skills and support professional growth.

Spartan Athletics

Whether you're a student-athlete or a cheering spectator, York College athletic competitions are thrilling events. YCP is home to 24 NCAA Division III teams in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) — with teams competing in fall, winter, and spring seasons.
