International Business Minor

This major sets you up for generalist managerial positions, which are needed in businesses around the world and won’t tie you down to one particular business function. You’ll benefit from studying in our highly-respected business administration program if you want to own/operate a small business, enter corporate management training programs, or perform analytical work and projects within an organization.

We like to think of political science as a way to deal with two perennial questions: Who governs? And to what ends? You’ll study the formal and informal political processes that shape public policy. You’ll examine the human side and the scientific side of political behavior. You’ll be able to make informed decisions about community politics, electoral politics, and advocacy. Put that all together, and you’re well-positioned as a graduate with valuable skills in understanding complex systems and relationships, as well as having political fluency.

The Management minor provides students the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful leader of the people in organizations. Students take courses covering human resource management, organizational behavior, leadership, and ethics.
