Events range from virtual experiences — like Coffee & Conversation meet-ups and skill-building webinars — to in-person activities like the annual Alumni Golf Outing, Alumni Hiking Club, and regional gatherings in an area near you.

Handshake — a Platform for Career Success

As a YCP alum, you also have access to Handshake, a platform where you can explore employers, job listings, recruitment events, and career development resources. Follow the steps below to claim your Handshake account and log in. 

• Visit ycp.joinhandshake.com — The page should display "York College of Pennsylvania" above the email field.
• Register a New Account — To sign up for an account, you will be prompted to register with your .edu email address, and then asked to add your school. However, if you no longer have access to your .edu address, you may simply register using a personal email and select York College of Pennsylvania from the dropdown menu.
• Create a unique password for your account and agree to Handshake's Terms of Service.
• Fill in your demographic information and finish creating your account. 
• Confirmation Email — A confirmation email will be sent to the email address where the account is registered. You must click the link in the email to confirm and use your account.
• Note: Your account will display as "Pending" until a Career Development staff member approves it. You may be contacted to verify alumni information.

York College alumni have access to the Schmidt Library on campus during regular operating hours, including complimentary borrowing of print books and DVDs, as well as walk-in use of electronic databases.

Alumni Association Scholarship

The Alumni Association Scholarship is an opportunity for students who have a relative (parent, grandparent, sibling, spouse, stepparent, etc.) who is a York College alum. To be eligible, scholarship applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in their first degree program.
