About the Chemistry Degree
York College Chemistry graduates have gone on to work for a wide variety of industry employers both locally and nationwide: Adhesives Research, BASF Corporation, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson and Johnson, Lancaster Laboratories, Pfizer, Proctor and Gamble, and many more.
Some students also choose to continue their education through graduate school, and have attended universities like Penn State, Syracuse University, Texas A&M, University of Alabama, University of Washington, and Vanderbilt University.
The Green Chemistry Commitment program supports college and university faculty and students in implementing and sharing best practices in green chemistry theory.
