SAS staff determine eligibility for reasonable accommodations on a case-by-case basis through an individualized, interactive process. Support and Services
Students who would like to request an accommodation should begin the process by filling out the Student Accessibility Services Accommodation Request Form, which is available through the AIM system. All information in this application will be kept confidential.
If you need to access any of our information in an alternate format, please contact Student Accessibility Services at 717.815.1717 or sas@ycp.edu.
The AIM system is used to manage all information and communication related to students' accommodation requests. Students may use AIM to submit their accommodation request form, upload related documentation, schedule testing, or make an appointment with Student Accessibility Services.
The Testing Center in York College's Student Accessibility Services Department provides a state-of-the-art, comfortable test-taking environment for students with a variety of accommodation needs. Testing appointments may be scheduled through the AIM system.

Our Mission
The mission of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at York College of Pennsylvania is to provide equal opportunities and equal access to campus facilities, education, programs, goods and services for students with disabilities. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) collaborates with and empowers individuals who have documented disabilities by proactively engaging in an individualized, interactive process with students to determine reasonable and appropriate accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) and other current legislation.
SAS is dedicated to being a community partner that provides advisement, consultation, professional development, and training on disability-related topics. This includes but not limited to, legal and regulatory compliance, access and equity, the proactive application of universal design, physical and electronic accessibility, and high school, college, and career transitions. Training, workshops, and resources are available to the College as well as the community.
